WELCOME TO OPEN-WIRE INSULATOR SERVICES!

We provide professional services for the insulator enthusiast:

• Insulator Auctions. Usually conducted every six to twelve months. (June 2009 update: We are currently taking an "auction break" for a few months). Our auctions are filled with dozens upon dozens of high quality items in the $100 and up range, most are consigned to us by noted collectors in the hobby. To maintain full exposure to the collecting public, our auctions are conducted online, as well as through our full color hardcopy catalog.
• Consignment Services. We are continuously seeking and accepting quality consignment items for future auctions. We provide full exposure for your items by offering them online AND through our full color hardcopy catalog. Yes, there are serious buyers that do not have the time nor interest in monitoring online auctions, such as eBay. Be certain that you are getting top dollar for your rare insulators by consigning to Open-Wire Insulator Services. We accept consignments of one item or more. Estate services are also available.
• We Buy Insulators. Always looking to purchase quality insulator collections. Will travel anywhere for top quality collections! Immediate cash for scarce to rare individual insulators, too!
• Sales. We offer quality insulators for outright sale. At this time we do not provide sales lists, but requests for specific items are welcomed. Most of our sales stock is available and sold at shows on our insulator show circuit.
• Appraisals. Inherited a collection of quality insulators and need an appraisal? Will travel anywhere within the US and Canada to provide up-to-date appraisals, or work off your list and photos. Rates are quoted on a per case basis to serious inquiries.
