| ITEM No.: 54 CD No.: 144.5 EMBOSSING: (base rim) Pat'd Aug. 19, 1890 COLOR: Aqua. CONDITION: Fairly minor flat tapering slice to the base rim and a couple other nibbles (not affecting embossing). Small dome ping. SUMMARY: An Oakman product, as signified by their patent date on the base referencing the ridges around the inner side of the skirt. This is a tough CD to find in decent condition. The glass almost appears brittle and many have surface flaking up the skirt and at the wire ridges. It would be difficult to find one that displays this well, plus it is the more sought after embossed variant (as opposed to the unembossed CD 144.5). ESTIMATED VALUE: $400 - $475 OPENING BID: $250 PRICE REALIZED: $440 |
