| ITEM No.: 62 CD No.: 134 EMBOSSING: none COLOR: Aqua with milky impurities. CONDITION: Ding/flake on dome and small chip on wire ridge. SUMMARY: These tall unembossed Pennycuick signals are often misidentified as CD 134.4s. This is due to the variances found in the width of the wire groove, with some, like this example, having a very wide wire groove. What really makes this one special is the presence of milk and thousands of very small fibers in the glass, appearing much like asbestos fibers and giving it an overall jade-like appearance. This provides some genuinely unique character, allowing this signal to clearly stand out as an oddity in any collection. ESTIMATED VALUE: $250 - $300 OPENING BID: $150 PRICE REALIZED: $187 |
