ITEM No.: 65 CD No.: 145 EMBOSSING: Brookfield COLOR: Olive amber. CONDITION: One inch inner skirt chip (see View 2). SUMMARY: A real sleeper color for this otherwise common skirt embossed Brookfield beehive. This is essentially a two-tone mix of olive and amber with a subtle tiger striping pattern to it. There's even a little unmixed aqua glass scattered in the skirt area. This color mix and density is generally found in the B beehives, but almost unheard of in the fully embossed Brookfield hives. We have only seen one other similar example, so estimating less than a half dozen known in this dark color should be a genuinely realistic statement.
