SUMMARY: This first in a continuous series of commemorative insulators was produced 40 years ago for the very first national insulator meet in Indiana. There were two primary colors produced: apple green and blackglass. A very limited special run of straw commemoratives were also made and have now become quite collectible, although very difficult to acquire.
