SUMMARY: Of the several insulator styles found embossed with the McLaughlin name, this is the only CD that is unique in design. The majority of these, if not all, have been traced to sole usage in Southern California. A few of these were salvaged several years ago from the widow of a deceased lineman who was melting them down in a kiln to make paperweights.
