SUMMARY: This Cutter variant is dubbed the "coffin bottom" due to the rectangular recess in the base, as opposed to the standard ribbed base style. These were highly susceptible to damage, so when one comes along this nice it should be of great interest to the collector wanting to add a superior example to their collection.
